Good Morning Tai Chi designed by Master Shao, this production contains 10, 15 and 20 minutes programs catering to our busy and stressful lifestyles. These programs are suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners of Tai Chi & Qi Gong exercises. By performing these exercises in the morning, it will energise your body, helping you feel healthier and well balanced during the day.
Master Shao began training in Chinese Martial Arts (Wushu-Kung Fu) at the early age of five. By the age of six, he was selected and trained under the guidance of Chinas renowned Grand Master Zhang Tong & Grand Master Ma Xian Da.
Master Shao was the National Open Champion of China in 1989 & 1990. Due to his achievements and knowledge, he was appointed Coach of Chinas prestigious Beijing University of Physical Education Tai Chi and Wushu team. Dedication to his studies and training has resulted in his attainment of Wu Ying (the highest level of Wushu-Kung Fu) awarded by the Sports Commission of China.
He currently holds 7th Dan for Kung Fu-Wushu and the Australian National Wushu/Tai Chi Team Coach, and many of his students have become national and International champions. He is the only person from China having these qualifications combining the Martial & Healing arts.

Whilst being treated by Dr Zhao Ming Shao, I asked what more I could do to improve my health; he suggested the GOOD MORNING TAI CHI DVD. I had practiced Tai Chi some years ago & when he said the 20 minute daily routine on the DVD was all that I needed to do, I was surprised; - Really, 20 minutes, is that all? Yes he replied, resolutely. So I started doing the movements along with the DVD, and on completing them, I didn t initially perceive any noticeable change; but I committed to doing daily to see where regular practice would lead. Not long after I d started practicing, I remarked to Master Shao; I can feel energy in my palms , to which he said, when you can feel it in your feet, then you know you ve got it! That really motivated me to keep going! After awhile I started to notice that the afternoon energy dip I d always experienced had disappeared. Gradually my energy had become more steadfast, eventually extending into the evening too! This is very gratifying for me, having struggled with fatigue for decades, to still feel energized after commuting and full-time work is an incredible lifestyle change. Now, after six months of regular Qi Gong/Tai Chi practice, each day I feel a vibrant sense of being that I ve never experienced before. It s as if my Qi has been stirred from hibernation, and now it s awake, my enthusiasm for the benefits of practice is hard to contain! Likewise, my sincere appreciation for the enlightened teaching by Sufi Wayne at his Rosebud QG/TC classes, & to Master Shao for his Five Animal Workshop; learning how to effectively use exercises to heal one s own health was so enlightening and very empowering!
