Fanzi Quan (also known as FanziBoxing, Tumbling Boxing, or Eight-flash Boxing) is so called because of its movements which are executed as fast as lightning and thunderclaps. The movements are varied and continuous, stressing the use of hands and body techniques such as side move, leaning back and turning over, as if a dragon whirling in the clouds. The movements are quick and forceful, attacking and defending in short distance. - Digital Access: 5yrs unlimited on your devices - Iphone/Android/PC/Mac; OR

Fanzi Quan is admired by many masters, and recognised as "Muquan" or a "mother style" -reflecting its importance in Chinese Martial Arts.
This is the most detailed DVD about Fanzi Quan available in English. It was produced in consultation with Grandmaster Ma Xianda of the famous Ma Family Tongbei system, and Grandmaster Bai Wenxiang - one of the leading authorities on traditional styles.
The instructional sequences in this DVD are taught by Master Shao Zhao Ming who was trained by both grand masters and awarded the 1989 National Championship title for which one of his performances was Fanzi Quan.
The DVD contains foundation exercises, full form in normal and slow speed, sectional views, close-ups and the world's only martial application demo of each movement in the form.

For those who really, I mean REALLY want to learn Fanziquan completely, this is the "it" DVD.
To be clear, this is the modern Wushu version of Fanziquan, and as such is exaggerated for performance and competition purposes, but the original fundamentals and applications are still there. Ma Xianda (coached both Jet Li and Zhao Changjun) and Bai Wenxiang (Zhao Changjun's coach) are big names in Chinese martial arts, so the material is real. For those who don't have the opportunity to learn from a professional Wushu school, this is a truly enlightening and insightful film and even goes beyond what professional Wushu coaches would teach you of the style.
The only concern I have about the hard product is for overseas consumers like myself. The DVD cannot be read/played by players outside the Australian region, an issue that should be addressed immediately. The only way to properly watch it would be to extract/rip the video files from the disc. But other than that, I see this becoming a real gem of Chinese Wushu studying material. I seriously recommend this DVD, it's well worth the price and wait. Thank you for this truly brilliant product :)
